shapesister • Lansare EP
Sunday, 1 November, 21:30 acces de la 20:00
shapesister is a new Bucharest four-piece sitting somewhere between art rock and post-punk, with one foot in the nervous, angular world of bands like De Staat and IDLES, and the other in the softer, dreamy world of The National.
Their songs can be tense, repetitive and abrasive, but can seemlessly turn warm, melodic or strangely romantic.
Rather than reaching for grand existential statements, the quartet keeps things close to home: bodies, appetite, shame, intimacy, childish cravings, bad habits and the small things that somehow end up taking over your day. Show more details
