Metallica has confirmed that its record-breaking M72 World Tour will be extended into its fourth year with the announcement of 16 shows in Europe and the UK spanning May, June and July 2026.
Metallica is set to perform in Bucharest on May 13, 2026, delivering a spectacular show bringing the tour’s full production, with its massive in-the-round stage positioned at the center of the National Arena’s field. The concert will be supported by special guests Gojira and Knocked Loose.
Tickets will go on sale Friday, May 30, at 10:00 AM, with fan club pre-sales beginning on May 27 at 11:00 AM. BCR Mastercard cardholders will enjoy exclusive early access to presale tickets via the George app starting May 27, 2025, at 12:00 PM. Additionally, Emagic customers will be able to access the presale beginning May 29 at 10:00 AM, using a unique code that will be sent to them via email.
For this event, tickets will be available with general admission access to the lawn area (single category) or reserved seating in the stadium’s three tiers, as well as special Enhanced Experiences* packages offering exclusive benefits. Since opening April 2023 in Amsterdam, M72 has seen Metallica play to some four million fans. As always, a portion of proceeds from every ticket sold will go to local charities via the band’s All Within My Hands foundation. Established in 2017 as a way to give back to communities that have supported Metallica over the years, All Within My Hands has raised over $20 million since inception – providing $11.4 million in grants to career and technical education programs including the ground-breaking Metallica Scholars Initiative, now in its seventh year, over $7.4 million to combat food insecurity, more than $4.7 million to disaster relief efforts.

Packages are open to all ages. Guests under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. All package purchasers will be contacted 3-5 days prior to the event date with the event schedule, check-in location, time and instructions on where to pick up package inclusions. Such information will be sent by the promoter or ticketing agent to the e-mail address or telephone number provided at the time of purchase. If you have not received this 3 days before the show, please contact us immediately here. Merchandise items included in your package will be available for pickup at the venue the day of the show at the designated VIP check in location (or other designated location). All merchandise must be collected onsite on the day of the show and will not be mailed if you do not check in. You must bring a valid photo ID matching the purchaser’s name on this order to the event. Guests who cannot present a photo ID matching the purchaser’s name on the order will be turned away. You may be required to sign a waiver and release of liability. By purchasing a package, you consent to have your photograph taken at the event. These images may appear in a collective album that will be visible to other event attendees. Certain images may be shared by SUPER, the photographer, and/or the artist for promotional purposes. TICKET LIMITS
For certain events, restrictions may apply regarding the maximum number of tickets that can be purchased in a single order, as well as the total number of orders allowed per user (per purchaser/per email address). Exceeding these limits may result in the cancellation of the orders that violate them and a refund of the value of the tickets purchased beyond the set limit. In certain cases—such as suspected fraud, unauthorized resale ("scalping"), or other non-compliant activities—the Organiser reserves the right to cancel the tickets without refund if the purchaser fails to provide the requested information during the verification process.
CHILDREN/ MINORS
Access for children of any age requires the purchase of a full-price ticket for them.
Access for minors under the age of 16 is only possible if they are accompanied by an adult, who must also possess their own ticket. One adult can accompany a maximum of 4 minors.
Due to high sound levels, the event is not recommended for children under 12. However, they may attend if accompanied by a parent or guardian who accepts full responsibility. The use of hearing protection is recommended.
ACCESS FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
Emagic supports access to cultural events for persons with disabilities. Therefore, the organiser will facilitate the participation of individuals with disabilities and their companions at the Metallica concert, scheduled for May 13, 2026, at the National Arena in Bucharest, by offering a limited number of complimentary tickets, subject to availability.
The organisr will provide a limited number of free tickets for persons with disabilities and their companions in the specially designated area for individuals with special needs at the National Arena.
Persons with disabilities who wish to benefit from free access to the Metallica event at the National Arena on May 13, 2026, are kindly asked to send an email to [email protected] within the first three months following the event announcement — from May 22 to August 22, 2025 — including their request along with the following documents:
- A copy of the disability certificate
- A copy of the ID of the person holding the certificate
- A copy of the companion’s ID
All documents must be valid at least through the date of the event.
Requests submitted during the above-mentioned three-month period will be reviewed for eligibility. Applicants will be considered eligible if they submit their request along with all valid required documents close to the event date. All applicants will receive a response via the email address from which the request was sent.
Complimentary access requests will be granted based on the first come, first served principle, while also meeting the eligibility requirements (valid submission of the disability certificate, the applicant’s ID, and the companion’s ID between May 22 and August 22, 2025).
ACCREDITATIONS
Accreditation requests for media representatives will open approximately 1–2 months prior to the event via a dedicated application form available on www.emagic.ro. Journalists are asked to follow the website for updates.
Important: Only requests submitted through the official form will be considered.
ACCESS TO THE EVENT
Access to the event is only permitted with tickets purchased from: Metallica.Emagic.ro, Tickets.Emagic.ro, and iaBilet.ro. Access will not be granted with tickets purchased from other sources.
Please refer to the access map on your ticket to identify your designated entry point to the stadium area, as well as the location of the sector where your seats are located.
By entering the event venue, attendees unconditionally agree to all general event rules, which are available in their entirety at: www.emagic.ro/termeni-si-conditii/.
The concert ticket grants access one time only, for one person, until the end of the event in the area indicated on the ticket (Standing or tribunes) only. Once spectators exit the stadium area, they will need a new access ticket to re-enter. The same applies to wristband holders.
Standing ticket holders can access the field via one of the four separate access points (Yellow, Pink, Green, Blue), as indicated on the map. The division of the pitch into colors (yellow, green, pink, blue) indicates the access zones to the stadium for Standing tickets (general admission on the pitch). Regardless of the color on their ticket, Standing ticket holders may move freely throughout the pitch area, as the pitch is not physically divided into four sections.
The ticket must be kept until curfew and attendees must also carry a valid form of identification.
The access ticket cannot be replaced if it is lost, stolen or destroyed and it grants access to the event one time only.
The ticket cannot be transferred to another person or resold. Reselling or reproducing tickets violates local laws and regulations.
No ticket refunds will be accepted.
Access to the event will begin around 16:00* for holders of all ticket categories, except for Early Entry ticket holders, who will receive further details via email closer to the event. The schedule may be subject to changes beyond the organiser's control and does not constitute a reason for ticket refunds.
The venue can be accessed via the:
- Basarabia Boulevard Entrance (Standing tickets, tribunes)
- Maior Coravu Street Entrance (Standing tickets, tribune M)
- Pierre de Coubertin Boulevard Entrance (Standing tickets, tribunes)
The Maior Coravu area will be open to the public earlier and set up as a waiting area with all necessary amenities. Access to the Maior Coravu area does not grant entry to the event before the opening of the venue gates.
PROHIBITED ITEMS
The following items are NOT ALLOWED: drinks and food purchased outside the venue, glass objects (including perfume bottles of any size, any other glass bottles or deodorants), aluminium cans, canned goods, fireworks, banners supported by poles, sprays, lasers, chairs, weapons, blunt objects, laptops, mini fans, chains, umbrellas, pets, backpacks, motorcycle helmets, luggage no bigger than A4 size, selfie sticks, binoculars, professional cameras, audio-video recording devices or GoPro cameras, bicycles, motorcycles, scooters or skateboards.
ALLOWED ITEMS
The following items ARE ALLOWED: EMPTY refillable reusable plastic bottles (sports water bottles) with a maximum capacity of 750 ml, compact photo cameras, lighters, medications (if accompanied by a prescription, medical letter, or any other substitute document, with a maximum of one daily dose), insulin and asthma inhalers.
OTHER GENERAL INFORMATION
- The show will take place on a round stage with a 360° setup, positioned in the centre of the field. Due to this concept, certain moments of the performance or production elements may be partially visible.
- Show recording is strictly prohibited. The artist's management may confiscate any audio-video recording device used for recording. Smartphones are allowed.
- Strobe lights may be used during the show, which can be harmful to individuals with photosensitive epilepsy.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited within the National Arena, except for designated smoking areas. Participants who do not comply with this rule could get a fine.
- For the safety of the audience and the smooth running of the event, participants are kindly requested to comply with body checks when requested by security agents. The security checks are carried out under the supervision of the Romanian Gendarmerie.
- The event organiser reserves the right to take and use photos and video recordings of attendees for promotional purposes. By attending the event, spectators accept the possibility of appearing in such materials, produced by the organiser or authorized third parties.
FOOD AND DRINKS
A selection of soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, and food will be available for purchase at the venue.
There will be a limited number of bars on the field (Standing tickets). We recommend also using the sales points located outside the field area.
Food and drinks can be purchased with cash or card, but please note that due to the large number of participants at the location, card payments may experience delays.
WEATHER
The stadium roof will be open throughout the concert and will remain open regardless of weather conditions. Umbrellas will not be allowed and will be retained at the security check.
PRIVACY POLICY
